Lynn S. Edmonds

President

Lynn Edmonds is President of LW Robbins. She is a nationally recognized industry leader who has developed innovative fundraising programs for scores of nonprofit organizations during her career.  She joined LW Robbins in 1999 as Executive Vice President and became President in 2001. Under her leadership, LW Robbins has provided results-driven strategic development and analysis, and creative and production services to more than 50 nonprofit clients.

For more than three decades, Lynn and her teams have worked with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Special Olympics, American Health Assistance Foundation, St. Labre Indian School, MAP International, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Coast Guard Foundation, American Diabetes Association, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Catholic Relief Services, Consumers Union, Covenant House, National Audubon Society, Washington National Cathedral and more than 40 regional food banks.

Lynn’s direction on behalf of many of these clients has yielded several Direct Marketing Association ECHO Awards, and nearly 100 national and local awards. Recent awards include 15 New England Direct Marketing Awards and 4 Direct Marketing Association Maxi Awards.

Lynn has received two industry awards recognizing her outstanding achievements in fundraising:  the 2010 Fundraising Success Lifetime Achievement award and the 2010 New England Direct Marketing Association Direct Marketer of the Year Award. Both awards pay tribute to her many accomplishments and her deep commitment to the fundraising community during her 35-plus year career.

A hands-on fundraiser and leader, Lynn is deeply involved in the direct response fundraising community. She is a board member of ADRFCO and NCDC and has served on both the board of DMEF and the Advisory Board of Fundraising Success Magazine. She served as Co-Chair of the DMA Nonprofit Federation 2009 New York Nonprofit Conference and is a frequent speaker at fundraising and direct marketing conferences nationwide.

Prior to joining LW Robbins, Lynn served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Epsilon’s Fundraising and Membership Services division.  She attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
